Confirmed from Oakland Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Playground, sandpit and basketball court at this family-friendly park with a lake beach.
What runners say about Oakland Park
“Good quality equipment for the kids to play on and a nice well kept open field :) Even has a porta potty and pop up shade tent.”

“park for kids all ages, great dog walking area, giant newly remodeled playground, sand box, xylophone!”
Easily my favorite park in the area. It’s gated so you don’t have to worry about kids running away. Outside of the gate, there is a sandbox & Gazebo if you’re into that. 2 playground units for different ages & soft flooring which I consider anti-fatigue for both kids and adults.
This is a nice clean park. There is seating in the play area. The gate around the play area has a latch so that the children can't easily run out. The children have a great playground to play on.
This is a really nice little park! Good quality equipment for the kids to play on and a nice well kept open field :) Even has a porta potty and pop up shade tent. Plenty of parking.
Great little park that has fishing, playground, beach (lake), sitting, athletic trail w/ stations and many events. It also now has a great function hall.
Trail conditions & character
“Plenty of benches for parents to relax on and there is always either a porta potty or actual bathroom facilities available, depending on the time of year.”
