Confirmed from Chula Vista Bayside Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public greenway with paved walking trails, a fishing pier & picnic tables, plus bay & city views.

Very underrated. Has safe walking n biking paths, places to picnic, paddleboard rentals, pier for fishing n ample parking in the lots and streets. Has a tiny playground. 2 bathroom areas, poop bag dispensaries, and several cement picnic areas and plenty of trees for shade. Can't beat the views...
First time visiting. Went on a Saturday night around 6pm. Stayed until about 8pm. Lovely view by the Gaylord Convention Center. Really a beautiful and clean park. Lots of kids playing, riding bicycles, playing volleyball and walking around. I highly recommend and I will return.
It’s definitely getting there. There are still a couple of odd characters around, but the improvements with the new hotel are really coming together. I went for a walk and saw a nice mix of people—couples, young and old, families, and individuals just enjoying the area. Chula Vista really needs something like this.

- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
