Confirmed from Hilltop Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Very nice shaded park with plenty of areas for a picnic or birthday party. A little creek runs through the center making it fun for little boat races. The playground is great for all ages. Nicely paved walking trail throughout.

Family friendly, great for walks and picnics. The playground is entertaining for ages 0-older....slides, swings, rock climbing, rolling hills, monkey bars, scavenger hunt and eucalyptus trees throughout.

★★★★★ — Erika , Apr 2024

Do not follow Navigation to this park as it puts you on a street behind the park that is not accessible by vehicle. As the name implies the park is on Hilltop not Milan and not First. Other than that great play equipment for the kids, nice walking sidewalks to tour the park, and a dog friendly atmosphere.

★★★★☆ — Michael , May 2019

Different kind of park for sure! It goes deep inland and has a little creek running through it. Nice spot to picnic and walk around with kids. Wood chip playground, bathroom and lots of shade under the trees.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
