Confirmed from Civic Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Civic park is very nice. Large grassy area with a nice playground. 1 part is for older kids connected to slides. Be careful as both sides are open and they could fall off. About a 10-12 foot drop….. They have trails. A nice pavilion Working separate bathrooms for men and women with 2 drinking fountains.

A wonderful place to enjoy summer fun with family. There is Alligator Creek which has lazy river, slides, diving boards. And the area for toddlers is absolutely fantastic. There are the cutest little sprinklers and the ground is soft or padded.

I love this park. The neighborhood is so nice and quiet. Mornings tend to be older people walking their dogs. Evenings are kids playing with parents. Super cute. Small park but enough space to get a good run/jog if working out is your thing.

My five-year-old grandson and I had a great visit yesterday at the park. Next time we will take his little bike they have a nice path for bike riding. He really had a good time however I was surprised they move the park and decreased the size however it's enjoyable to be out and that Park is very nice

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

Plan your run at Civic Park

The practical stuff

  • AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
