Confirmed from Clark's Creek Park South's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Clark's Creek Park South

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (129 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“Tougher trails are more challenging when it's wet and can get muddy and slippery in places but the main trails are well maintained.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 7 mentions

“Its got fields to play in, nice playground, dog park, wooded trials, party areas, and all this surrounded by wetlands, creeks, and most notably the gorgeous Clark's Creek.”

Love this park! Nice playground with a bathroom near and picnic tables both covered and out in the field next to the playground. The trails are clean and beautiful greenery. A little incline here and there but not much. There is cute little information boards down by the creek.

★★★★★ — Kay , Apr 2023

Excellent park with seceral miles of wooded trail. Beautiful forested ravines. Well groomed trail and opportunities for Puyallup Loop link up.

★★★★★ — Zach , Dec 2021

Good spot to park and hit the amenities before hitting the trails. The trails are largely unmarked and even the Puyallup Loop Trail gets confusing as some posts are just leaning up against fallen trees… better maps of the area could benefit park goers.

★★★★☆ — Jesse , Nov 2022

Trails of different caliber in this park. Tougher trails are more challenging when it's wet and can get muddy and slippery in places but the main trails are well maintained. There are plenty of wild flowers to keep your eyes busy and small crafted wood bridges to help navigate through the wetlands.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
