This is a pleasant park for walking a dog. Never too busy. I occasionally pass other dog walkers, and otherwise the occasional jogger. Bikes are allowed on the paths but I seldom see them. This also has some superb soccer practice fields.
This park is large and offers clean Pavilions with built in grills for party's and several built in picnic tables through out. The playground area is clean and has been recently updated. There is also a walking trail around the park that many people enjoy solo or with four legged babies as the trail is pet friendly.
It's a busy. Well kept park. My dog. Loves the fact he can get in an out of the creek area. At bottom side of the park. An I like the fact that even though it says close at dark dog an I can still Access the area. At dark because of work / sleep schedule we do a lot of his walking after midnight up to 2 am. ..
It's not just a nice playground there is a ton of things to do there either w/ your kids or when we were kids always have so much fun. My favorite is feeding the ducks or just walking the trail that's 1 big circle w/ so much beautiful nature that you don't realize how much & long you had walked.
