Confirmed from Veterans Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Featuring a baseball field, splash area, and playground, this area offers picnic tables, slides, a swimming pool and miniature golf.
What runners say about Veterans Memorial Park
“Clean in the general areas with extremely nice city workers that do the weed eating.”
“It’s beautiful gem right in the heart of Clarksburg, so I hope they can maintain the trail from further flood erosion so everyone can continue to enjoy it.”
Always something interesting to see of nature if you have your eyes and ears open. Have seen everything from Bald Eagles to otters out here, depending on the time of day.
Very nice park to walk the fitness trail and look at the sights around the park. I also like the park and the pool area as well, my wife and I love it.
Beautiful Park, the memorial garden walk is beautiful. My favorite in the garden is like a wooden gazebo with vines growing all over it. So peaceful to sit inside of it. They also have benches all through the garden.
This is my favorite walking park. It is 1 1/2 miles and once you start the loop you have to finish it. Today we saw butterflies on the flowers. Saw about 3 or 4 types, birds, ducks, a rabbit and 3 baby deer. It was a cool day with a breeze. For people like me, they have seats to rest or enjoy nature.
