Confirmed from Cleveland Metroparks Lakefront's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Had a picnic on a magical night with a glorious sunset and the rising of the waxing gibbous moon. Came back the next morning to hike the 1.6 mile perimeter trail and enjoy the lake views and birds. What a fantastic park!

It was the first sunny and warm day we’d seen in Cleveland since we had arrived a few days before. It was nice to get out in this beautiful and well kept park. Lots of people but it didn’t seem crowded. Joggers and walkers. Single folks, couples holding hands and families enjoying the day.

Very nice place to walk and run and fishing also, I had so much fun by spending sometime over there watching the lake and enjoying the weather. It was a short visit to Ohio but I really liked the lake and the views. Very recommended for relaxation, fishing, walking and running

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
