Confirmed from Forest Hill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Forest Hills Park at East Cleveland this past Saturday was serene and yet, calm and peaceful. The Geese and ducks greeted me and my Pomeranian with kindness, as if they were saying, "Hello and welcome!" I really enjoyed my walk in the park there on such a beautiful sunny and warm day in the tail end of November?

A piece of nature in the city! Options to walk around the paved paths and sidewalk, or to wind your way through the woods on the many connected natural trails. You can even find a few small waterfalls along the creek! And it's absolutely beautiful in the fall. Only reason for 4 stars is the lack of marked trails.

★★★★☆ — Michelle , Nov 2021

Wonderful walking trails and a forest feel in town. That's good. What's not good is how degraded some of the trails are, and that some of the buildings look like they should be haunted. Some of the buildings and playground equipment are apparently nonfunctioning.

This place has a certain post apocalyptic vibe that I really get down with. Parts of the park are well maintained and others look like humanity abandoned, it’s just a very fun and unique park. Great for mountain biking and hiking or feeding the ducks at the pond.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
