Confirmed from Clinton Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Clinton Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (21 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Cool collaboration out-and-back trail between the Tiffin Parks Department and the Seneca County Parks Department. Both the Schekelhoff and Clinton trails meet each other to form one, long trail. The Clinton portion of the trail is grass or stone with a few benches along the way.

★★★★★ — Nick , Aug 2024

Very nice place to take a long walk along the river. Not really any other amenities however. Several benches and a couple tables along the way. A good place to put in a canoe if you have a pick up person downriver.

★★★★☆ — Tim , Jun 2021

Good Park to walk. Combine it with the neighboring and connected Schekelhoff Park, scenic views of the Sandusky River add to the experience in a good way.

★★★★★ — David , Sep 2021

Participated in a winter walk led by Linda from the SCPD. This park seems like a good place to walk on a regular basis.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
