I fish the river here frequently in the summer. Nice place with easy river access. In dry times, walking in the river or on exposed bedrock is easy. There's catfish, bass, gar, drums, and more. I even hooked a huge carp, but it got away as I tried to land it.
Great walking spot. The geese are all around and love to chat with you.
One of my favorites. They clean up the river front more and more every year. New play ground equipment. Paved trail that's fun for scooting and skateboarding. Probably best river entry point in the city for wading, looking for shells and rocks, fishing holes..
