Confirmed from Clyde Pond's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Clyde Pond
Amazing fun!!! The water was perfect! Not alot of bugs, plenty of shade for you to relax and enjoy watching people swing off off the rope swing or jump off the platforms
Amazing single track mountain biking trails. Also looked like a good spot to fish or swim - I saw plenty of people doing both. For MTB specifically, there's a nice 'Clyde Pond Loop' that is well marked that you can follow to get started.
Awesome trail network, well laid out and maintained. Would pay to ride here
We walk our dog here often. It is good all seasons but in winter spikes or snow shoes are recommended. Other times of year a light hiking boot is best. Many trails for mountain biking and no motorized vehicles allowed. We have seen teens swimming in summer and ice skating in winter.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- Loop distance15 mi back to where you parked. Long enough for a real long run.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
