Confirmed from Cobblestone Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Cobblestone Park
“Amazed how clean the park is, just beautiful ♥️ Has covered picnic tables, garbage cans, benches, water fountain.”
“There are no bathrooms and the trees are still small to shed some shade.”
“From the colorful play structures to the picnic area, everything is tidy and family-friendly.”
Trees are bit bigger then pictures so there is shade. No bathrooms. There was ice cream man that drove around. That's a plus in our family outing book. Kids a great time with the neighborhood kids. Family oriented and friendly atmosphere.
This is a Charming Community Park That's Perfect for a Pit Stop, just not a Bathroom Break As a longtime Sacramento resident, I'm always on the hunt for new parks and green spaces to enjoy. So when I recently discovered Cobblestone Park in Rancho Cordova, I was delighted.
Although parking in the area (on Barden and especially on Arrington) is really dense, it's still a nice enough park. Would be great if there was a fenced area for dogs instead of the occasional dog running around off-leash since traffic can move too fast through the area.
Small park for taking a break and relax from daily life. There are kid recreation areas and a small roofed space. There are no bathrooms and the trees are still small to shed some shade. You can park on the side roads although is more used by residents.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
