Confirmed from Colleyville Nature Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“The Colleyville Nature Center spans 48 acres of peaceful trails, shaded trees, and beautiful scenery.”

So many opportunities for bird watching, other wildlife sightings, fishing, trail walking and exploring nature! It doesn't feel like you're in the middle of a neighborhood at all. I love this place. Do be careful of snakes and poison ivy and wear insect repellent.

★★★★★ — Charissa , Jul 2023

The Colleyville Nature Center is an excellent place to bring the family. The playground and pavilion at the entrance of the nature center doesn't do it justice. Mill Pond has a small dock jutting into it where we saw at least ten turtles swimming in the water.

★★★★★ — Alex , May 2021

This place is AWESOME. If you want a nice shaded area to go bird watching this is the spot. We saw two barred owls and many more birds. People are polite on this trail and the place is clean. Definitely recommend this to anyone that wants a quiet walk.

★★★★★ — Leeoniee , Jun 2024

Great for natural trails, good amount of wild life for viewing. If your looking for a nice shaded peaceful walk, this is your spot. Make sure to bring the right shoes, for most of the trails are not paved and puddles of mud produce in many of the trails.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
