Confirmed from Comeford Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Neighborhood recreation area with picnic facilities, a community center, meeting rooms & playground.
What runners say about Comeford Park
“It used to be kinda run down but since the city center/police station is nearby now it’s nice & clean!”
“Whether you prefer to bask in the heat or sit in the shade; enjoy!”
This park is kept well! It used to be kinda run down but since the city center/police station is nearby now it’s nice & clean! The spray park is fun for all ages & the playground is too! The spray area gets a bit slippery for the kiddos running around so bring water shoes!
This is my granddaughter's favorite place to play during summer, in this area (of course because of the spray park!). Lots to offer, well designed for plenty of adults to sit and spread out too... Whether you prefer to bask in the heat or sit in the shade; enjoy!
Trail conditions & character
“Water play area, climbing playground, soft ground under play equipment, lots of grass for picnics/reading, tables and a couple bbqs, restrooms.”
“Whether you prefer to bask in the heat or sit in the shade; enjoy!”
“Don't forget to check this park out in the winter when it is decorated and lit up by the holiday lights.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
