Confirmed from Commons Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Family park featuring a playground and a pool and tennis courts.
What runners say about Commons Park
“Huge playground that is well maintained and beautiful metroparks walking paths directly behind it.”
“Huge playground that is well maintained and beautiful metroparks walking paths directly behind it.”
I live in the Parma Heights area around this park and it is such a joy to see people using the park to play with their kids or to see a show at the Cassidy Theater which is very well known. The staff and the Cleveland Metroparks that handle the Big Creek Reservation part of this really do a good job.
Swimming pool, theater, library, nature trail, physical activity trail, tennis, volley ball, workout stations, a nice gazebo and 4 Pokestops. This park has it all.
Great Park in Parma heights. From the pools, tennis courts and playground there's something for everybody. Also take the walking path down to the Metro Park or stay up top and walk the fitness loop. Restrooms on site, but usually close after the pool shuts down.
Clean, lots of space to explore and hangout. Playground isn't very large but it's a fun one. Swings as well. Right next to the library and pool. There are workout stations along the paved paths behind Cassidy theatre. Lots of benches. Big creek is right behind the park as well.
