Confirmed from Big Creek Parkway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring picnic tables, barbecue grills and winding footpaths amid greenery.
What runners say about Big Creek Parkway
“Beautiful parkway in the middle of suburbia, just be careful of deer and people not paying attention.”
“Peaceful and a great place to explore by the creek!”
This nice little parkway is nestled in between Brooklyn and Parma. It makes a for a nice drive between the two towns if you opt to drive the road running through it. The break from the concrete jungle is rapid and welcome in the city. Stopping at the creek in the spring time can be great.
Such a gorgeous place to visit and just take in the fresh air. I love taking walks as often as possible, so this was a new experience while doing something familiar at the same time. I'll definitely come back.
Beautiful park. Want a peaceful and therapeutic walk? Head south on the multipurpose trail for about 50 feet and off to the left is a wonderful walking/ jogging path that goes through the trees. It’s so quiet you can hear your heartbeat. Restrooms are available adjacent to the multipurpose trail.
More of a mountain biking/electric biking (bc that’s a thing now apparently) tailored trails. A few very narrow hiking trails going along the water.
