Confirmed from Concord Woods Nature Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Peaceful little park. Walk around the pond on paths into the the woods. The play equipment could use a few upgrades, maybe some swings. Enjoyable.

★★★★☆ — Chris , Apr 2025

This is a lovely local park that's part of the Lake Metroparks system. It has a walking trail that is designed as a loop with a couple of internal paths. Combined distance of the loop and obsidian paths is about 1 mile. The park has a wonderful pavilion with picnic tables and a large fireplace.

★★★★☆ — Halle , Mar 2023

Good park. Nice gravel trails to walk or run. Large pavilion available for parties and gathering which you need to reserve to assure usage. Small playground for the kids. There is also a pond which you can fish, the only downside is there are several trees which cause you to snag your line.

★★★★☆ — Andrew , May 2023

Very nice park to take your kids or your dog. It has a nice path that follows around a pond and leads back to the pavilion near the parking lot. The pavilion has a fireplace in it that has split wood available for you and everything. There's a kids playground there for your little ones as well.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
