Small little parking lot in the middle of a residential area, so it's easy to miss. The trail leads between a fork in the river so you have river on either side of you at points. It's elevated so it's relatively dry but it can definitely get muddy.
Nice little park with a short trail surrounded by the river. Good for a quick hike and good for kids. There is areas with sand and rocks on the shore to skip stones. Fishing is allowed in most the area. Dogs are allowed. Small parking lot for 5 cars and a bathroom.
Beautiful Park, short path to the creek, with easy access to the creek by stairs or walk the trail. The creek bed is flat and walkable with awesome views of the shale cliffs.
We went during winter time to check out the icicles and they were beautiful. Such an amazing place to visit. It’s about 10 minutes walk from the parking lot.
