Confirmed from Cone Health ZooCity Sportsplex's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Sports facility featuring multiple soccer fields, a playground and clean restrooms. Soccer tournaments and games are held there.
What runners say about Cone Health ZooCity Sportsplex
“Lots of parking and they did a great job keeping restrooms clean all weekend during the soccer tournament we attended here!”
“The soccer fields, volleyball areas, and baseball fields are beautiful.”
The Zoo City Sportsplex is great for family and friends to play and have a good time. The new facility includes soccer, volleyball, football, pickleball, parks, and trails. Soccer leagues play during the week, you can watch or join a team!
Great walking trail. Wide, scenic, cleared areas along the trail. Access to restroom and water fountain. EXCEPT, the signs along the way are disappointing! Flimsy curled up material rather than a sturdy metal sign. You reach several forks along the trail and have to guess at which way the measured trail goes.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
