Only a handful of other hikers, all with happy dogs. A few deer out in the morning earlier on.
Went for a morning run on this trail. It’s a good single-track trail. Steep in a few areas, and really rocky in others, but for the most part a great getaway. Very pretty. The trail continues into another and could keep going if a longer hike or jog is desired. Posted, no bikes or motor vehicle allowed.
Moderate Trail --but not long-- views are worth it. Right next to the highway so it's not deep into the woods.
Storm Mountain is one of my favorite mountain bike trail systems in the hills. You won’t find any buffed out machine built trails here. Just old fashioned hand dug rake and ride with lots of roots and rocks that will turn you into a better rider. The Flume Trail is pretty cool too.
