Confirmed from Coon Lake County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Lakeside area with clean water, a playground and picnic tables.

“If an easy hike is on the agenda, there are groomed trails to wander around as well.”
Nice little park out in the country just north of the NE suburbs. Free admittance (as of Sept. 2025). Nice beach, plenty of picnic tables, bathrooms and changing rooms and a large playground. There is even a short .
Loved the trail here by the lake and through the woods. We saw an owl. I believe it was a barred owl.
Awesome park. The caretakers do a great job maintaining the grounds, the beach, the pavillions (one is brand new!), the parking lots, and boat launch. There is a volleyball ball net for beach volleyball and a designated swim area. For the kids, there is a playground on site.
Loved it. Was hardly anyone there bc kids were still in school. So tranquil and peaceful. Almost felt like being on vacation just walking in the beautiful clear water. They're doing a wonderful job of keeping the lake/beach nice
