We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Corbly Gulch Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Corbly Gulch Trailhead
“Drove out on a beautiful 72 degree day.”
Drove out on a beautiful 72 degree day. Had a stock Rubicon Wrangler 4 door that traversed the path. There are some sharp rocks and erosion that were concerning. Definitely need good clearance. A stock Jeep or truck is going to have difficulty.
Amazing trail, do not drive the 4x4 road if it is at all slick/wet. This road requires a high clearance vehicle, but you can always park at the bottom and walk/ride the road. Most cars park down low.
This is just about the road to the trailhead so folks know. It's not really fair to rate based on stars, but stars are required. The road becomes more like a dry runoff bed than an actual road of any kind. Much rougher than the road to Fairy Lake, for example. So your basic four-wheel drive vehicle will not cut it.
Trail conditions & character
“I took the trail North after parking at the trail head towards Sacagawea Peak.”
