Confirmed from Corral Canyon Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This tranquil 100-acre park with abundant wildlife is popular with hikers & offers picnic areas.
What runners say about Corral Canyon Park
“Pretty and beautiful place, there were so much and diverse wildlife to see, saw an canid wearing a spiky collar?”
“Super simple and easy hike with a beautiful view.”
Vegetation has started growing back after the 2018 fire. Nice hike with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. Recent rains have washed out the trail in some places so watch your step. Overall a really nice place to go for a walk.
Very nice views. Nice for hiking. Mountain biking is nice but mainly fire roads. There is at least one cool singletrack downhill. It gets hot. Take plenty of water and sun protection. Not many shade areas
Amazing trail that is not too difficult to hike up. I highly recommend hiking up the left side to complete the loop. You'll get the best views that way. Plentiful free parking along Pacific coast highway. Be sure to stop by the restaurant at the foothill. It's absolutely amazing.
Beautiful scenic trail. Trail just needs to be kept, lots of plants and shrubs covering trail.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
