Confirmed from Corson's Inlet State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Corson's Inlet State Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (1,080 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“It's in an area where no one really goes and also has beautiful sunsets, that is a really good time to go.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 5 mentions

“The hike ends at a beach with an expansive view of the ocean There is technically no swimming, but it’s perfect as a quiet spot for dipping your toes and shell collecting.”

A beautiful place to walk along the water's edge or follow trails inside the park. If you go, please respect the roped off areas as this a breeding ground for endangered birds.

This is a nice beach and it’s tough to tell where the Ocean City beach ends and the State Park begins. But that doesn’t matter. There’s meter parking, a bathroom and changing room house. There are discretely marked hiking trails in the state park.

At the southern end of West Ave in Ocean City NJ is Corsons Inlet SP. It is renowned as a very good place for fishing. However, on Jan 1 it was way too cold and windy for that! There are two parking lots. One at 59th St and the other, where we parked, off Ocean Drive. No fees are charged.

Loved our walk in Corsons Inlet! Easily found parking the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. The bathrooms at 59th street are great (we parked on the street nearby). I highly suggest that you wear sneakers, high socks and/or pants. The path is fun, and while you can do it in flip flops, it is FULL of poison ivy. So.much.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
