Confirmed from Cougar Trails Loop's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful and easy trails around WSU. Feels a lot more secluded even though you’re right in town. Some trails take you down to Mill Creek and most of them are interconnected enabling different loop possibilities.
Awesome! It's a great hiking trail pretty much in your own backyard. If you want to take a break from everyday worries and problems, this is the place to go.
Easy hiking for all ages, several different paths, could make it a shorter walk with younger kids, or walk it all easily in a couple hours (with older kids or adults.) We were able to see turtles, frogs, slugs, birds, etc... while hiking the trails.

“The trails are not well marked, but the main trails are loop trails so you won't get lost, even when it feels like you are lost in the woods!”
