Confirmed from Courtney Campbell Causeway Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Courtney Campbell Causeway Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (98 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“The bridge offers stunning views and a refreshing breeze, although there's no shade along the trail.”

I have wanted to go on this trail for years after years of driving over the bridge to TPA. We finally got our rollerblades and went for it. It was awesome. Enjoying outdoor exercise while enjoying the beautiful view of the bay was priceless. If you haven’t already done this...

Perfect sunset spot and exercise trail! The only thing is: no restrooms and water stations.

★★★★★ — Tashi , Apr 2022

I love this spot. It is the best view of the sunset over the water. I ftensee dolphons and sting ray. Such a beautiful place to walk and enjoy the bay! Free parking too!

★★★★★ — Alise , Feb 2020

One of my very places to come and watch the sunset after a long day at work! A great meeting place for active people or just hanging out watching the sunrise or sunset on a hammock!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 14 mentions

“Whether you're into rollerblading, jogging, skateboarding, fishing, or simply taking in the views, this trail has something for everyone.”
