Confirmed from Safety Harbor Nature Boardwalk's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Trail along the shoreline, featuring boardwalks and observation decks for bird-watching.
What runners say about Safety Harbor Nature Boardwalk
“We saw Pink Spoonbills and dolphins and a beautiful sunrise over Tampa.”
“Love this little area for a peaceful morning or evening walk when the weather is not too hot or humid.”
Really lovely park. I was pleasantly surprised at how large the boardwalk is. Pets allowed on leash. Bathrooms and water fountains. Definitely a very nice grass area. The parking is limited, so keep that in mind. Would definitely recommend checking it out.
Enjoyed visiting this beautiful and quiet park. We walked along the boardwalk, saw manatee's surface for air a few times, watched birds, found a raccoon curled up asleep in a tree, and enjoyed the mangroves all around. Free parking was a plus!
This is a great place to watch the sunrise. Easily accessible with sidewalks and boardwalks (no dirt or gravel). We saw Pink Spoonbills and dolphins and a beautiful sunrise over Tampa.
A little slice of heaven, great place to take a walk and admire wildlife and sun sets.
