Confirmed from Cove Outlook Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Cove Outlook Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (185 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“There’s some grass spots that go through a huge path of cat tails that are gorgeous in golden hour!”

Medium size park with tons of space. There’s fields to play sports, a playground and a lot of walking paths. There’s some grass spots that go through a huge path of cat tails that are gorgeous in golden hour!

★★★★★ — Brittany , Nov 2019

Cove is not a huge park but it has a few playsets for kids, a full size soccer field, a bunch of picnic pavilions and some trails both in the wooded area and open areas. The little Chickie's Creek runs through the property and is good for wading. I like this little hidden gem in Mount Joy.

★★★★★ — Jon , Oct 2018

Beautiful and relaxing paved walking trails, a few unpaved and some are even handicap accessible. Many different habits represented such as creek, marsh, woodland, & field all within a mile walk. Interactive and fun playgrounds and playing fields for children. All in all, a very diverse and welcoming park for all ages.

★★★★★ — Bethany , Sep 2022

This park has everything - walking trails, athletic field, children's playground, pavilions, a creek, and designed habitat to attract birds. I enjoy coming here to get my steps in or to meet up with friends and family.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
