Confirmed from Covenant Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Covenant Park
“Quiet, serene, full of natural beauty”
This is a beautiful park. There is a nice covered porch with a couple benches and a couple short mowed trails through open meadows. I sat on a bench next to the park’s building and watched the rain for an hour, then took a short walk around the trails.
We did staggered runs, and competed amongst people of ages 6 to 28 and had a really fun time. I have not felt so challenged in a race as a 28-year-old in a long time. This park is good for those who like to hike in the outdoors… or run races if you’re like us.
Nice park with natural trails. Hoping the millage passes on August 2nd so they can make the upgrades they wanted to do. Nice place as is, but the upgrades would be nice
Nice , peaceful trails and scenery. A good spot for a short trail walk and fresh air.
Trail conditions & character

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
