Confirmed from East Paris Nature Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Went with my sister. Easy parking and access to the walking trails. Its a small park but a beautiful walk. Lots of nature and animals all around. Loved the views and the ease of the trails. Several others were there walking their dogs, strolling with their kids, and running.

A small, but beautiful park in an unexpected place on the edge of the Bailey's Grove neighborhood that's perfect for a short walk and clearing your mind. Walking around the park is under 1 mile in total and is currently undergoing transforming the walking path from concrete to a more comfortable, stable gravel path.

This was the perfect park to have our baptism at (we brought in an inflatable pool)! Beautiful park has adequate parking, is dog friendly, has a playground, clean bathroom, covered pavilion with nice walking trail and lake view! (I would not suggest swimming in the lake) It’s off 60th Street and East Paris.

First time to visit. Easy walk, about a mile, some paved, some small crushed gravel. No issue with the pathways. Noticed places to reach the water to fish. Sign says bluegill available. Dog loved the trail. Water fountain was cool with a ground level drinking bowl for dogs. Water tasted fine and was cold.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
