Confirmed from Covenant Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreation space with baseball, softball, and basketball courts, as well as a playground and walking trail.
What runners say about Covenant Park
1 tennis court (hard) with solo practice backboard. 4 pickleball courts. 1 basketball court. (2 hoops) . A baseball diamond. Drinkable (potable) water fountain. St. Peters water is good. The basketball hoops are brutal deniers of baskets but awesome. If You can ball on that court, You're a stud.
Great park. There are swings, tennis courts, a basketball court, a play structure (no slides), and a softball/baseball diamond. They've recently installed seasonal washrooms. There is a water fountain that is also seasonal. The trail that connects the park to other St. Peters parks.
Great pickleball courts! Dedicated courts with permanent nets. Two courts per gated section. 4 courts total. Gates are at each court so you don't have to walk behind someone elses court or playing time. Paddle stacking tubes are on each gated section for rotating game play.
As parks go the overall amenities are average at best BUT the pickleball courts are very nice and less windy than many. Would be better if they were lighted. The tennis court is also solid and there is a walking/running trail through the park that is obviously used be many.
Trail conditions & character
“If You have a portable disc golf basket the outfield is decent sized for practicing shorter approaches and putting.”
“There is a water fountain that is also seasonal.”
“But be aware there is no park lights so if its close to sunset maybe reschedule.”

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
