Confirmed from Coyote Gulch Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Coyote Gulch Park
Very nice clean and quiet park. A little windy but not so bad to avoid this park. Plenty of trees that will be great for shade a few years from now. Lots of seating with benches and rocks placed throughout the park.
Really lovely park. Lots of space, nicely kept. People and dogs friendly. Just wish they had a gated spot for dogs to run off leash. But I know very few places have that. All in all really lovely place.
There's a nature trail, covered picnic areas, park, basketball court, and plenty of open grass area to play. The only thing missing is a restroom.
Nice neighborhood park. Great kids area. There is a trail that keeps going, bike friendly. Haven't done that, but it looks very cool.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
