Confirmed from Craig Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This park is absolutely beautiful! Paved paths for distance walking. The grounds are very well kept with breathtaking scenery. There are many areas for kids to play. All are in working condition and ready for some fun. Restrooms available and well marked.

A great place for a long walk in Greenville, Indiana. Pavilions, pathways, pickleball, volleyball and tennis courts. It is located next to the Greenville Community Center, Library and Baseball fields. Several people were walking their dogs on an early Saturday morning. Free parking.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 9 mentions

“Great park to hang out with friends and family and bring your dogs to, but I wish people would pick up after their dogs more.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
