Confirmed from Old City Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Open play & festival space along a creek with a football field, a shaded playground & a pavilion.
What runners say about Old City Park

“Beautiful landscape, nice walking paths, Bocci ball, lots of benches, and children's play area in the middle of Greenwood.”
Beautiful landscape, nice walking paths, Bocci ball, lots of benches, and children's play area in the middle of Greenwood. We also enjoyed exploring the area near the Library and Amphitheater.
Very beautiful and greenish adjacent to Greenwood City Library and near the Amphi Theatre. Lot of walk area for all and play features for children and cycling. Maintained neat and tidy. One can relax and feel cool in company of friends.
This place is awesome from the slides to the rock climbing and the turf hills. Updated and remodeled. Also has Mrs Curls ice cream and walk away to grab some treats after a lovely day at the park.
Great city park for everyone, jogging, walking, playground, pitch and catch you can do it all here. We even saw some kids wading in the creek. A short walk to the ampitheater or a local ice cream shop.
Trail conditions & character
“Beautiful landscape, nice walking paths, Bocci ball, lots of benches, and children's play area in the middle of Greenwood.”
“Would recommend, although the main play ground tower is broken, and kids must climb up the slide to access it.”
“The only thing is we didn’t see a restroom close by, but I’m sure there is one near.”
“Most importantly for me is that my Dog (Bob Seger) thinks that anytime I utter a word that starts with a “P” I’m saying Park.”

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
