Confirmed from Cranberry Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Trail-lined lake popular for hiking, biking, swimming and kayaking.

“Great trails with some elevation-great for a walk or run and a calm place to try paddleboarding or just sit and enjoy the view.”
Amazing spot just before their Anacortes Ferry terminal. The road to might seem unassuming and residential. Parking is free and ample, might get a little crowded on nice weekends though. There is a little swimming area at the front of the lake.. and so many trails that loop all the way around.
Such an exciting place to hike and kayak. We saw eagles, kingfishers, and carnivorous plants (flycatchers) in the bog islands!
Beautiful park. Great trails with some elevation-great for a walk or run and a calm place to try paddleboarding or just sit and enjoy the view.
This place was cool! We just stopped by and took some photos, but the trail looked easy and scenic. Free from what we could tell.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
