Confirmed from Creekside Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Beautiful area shaded area with clean bathrooms that are well maintained.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Cute, family friendly park with playgrounds, baseball fields, and an active creek.”

Cute, family friendly park with playgrounds, baseball fields, and an active creek. There is one main trail that isn’t very long but would be perfect for children or dog walking. The trail is mostly in the open so prepare for the sun/heat. My husband and I found the cutest baby turtle today by the creek!

I loved that it is far away from the main road, perfect for small children. It's tucked back far enough to forget about being in town. Great playground for kids of all ages. And lots of places to sit and picnic. There is also a BBq. Clean and spacious. Walking trails around the whole park too. I highly recommend!

Our first time there. A small but nice park close to our house. There is a large shelter area with a grill. The green area is vast enough to enjoy the view and have a nice picnic. The walking trail is not very long but okay. The playground is pretty for kids and adults too :)

My older two love this park while the youngest struggles (she's 3), great park but not really designed for kids under 5. Love the walking trail tho!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
