Confirmed from Paris Park Nature Reserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Paris Park Nature Reserve

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (130 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“I circled quite a few times & I’d imagine the foliage is quite beautiful in mid-summer and the peak of the fall colors.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 6 mentions

“Really nice short nature walk for those who don't want to travel too far it's peaceful and vacant most of the time great place to walk your dogs!”

Very calm and peaceful. The trails were well walked on, though when I went there wasn't anyone else there. The reserve trails follow a very nice stream that was frozen over when I was there. A great place to walk and enjoy nature!

Not the easiest to spot from the road, and turning in Eastbound can be dicey while you're blocking traffic, bit it's a quiet little wooded walk. Unpaved trail.

★★★★☆ — Thomas , Apr 2026

I love to walk here. Even on a hot day it is pleasant with a full canopy coverage. I also love to hear all the birds. It's a short path so I can get a 15 minute walk on when I don't have a lot of time. Or. I can go twice, or take the "extra" paths when I want to take a little longer.

★★★★★ — Marilyn , Jun 2021

Nice park and trail system. The trails are not super long probably 30 mins of walking if you don't stop. You are in the woods the whole time and their is a creek at the very beginning. Note: parking lot floods after a heavy rain

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🛣️ Paved surface 6 mentions

“Great little set of nature trails, with several paved loops, and intriguing interior paths through the woods.”
