Confirmed from Creel Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Calm, kid-friendly park with swings, basketball and tennis courts, plus shaded picnic tables.

What runners say about Creel Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (323 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 7 mentions

“The grounds were clean, in some places you could tell someone had been driving in the grass and it caused the grass to be lifted.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

A very pleasant neighborhood park with a basketball court, a playground for kids and tennis courts. Some people come here to walk their dogs and just enjoy nature.

★★★★★ — Anthony , May 2023

Creel park is in good condition based on the age of the park. There are bathrooms and picnic pavillions for outside parties but I think the tables should be mounted to the ground because when I went they were moved all around.

★★★★☆ — Breyden , Jan 2026

It's peaceful. They have a trail, tennis court, toddler play ground separate from older kids, basketball court. They have tables so you can probably host a birthday party there.

★★★★★ — Shan , Dec 2019

Nice trail walk, play ground and pavilion/picnic areea (1 star taken away for the spider webs hanging from the trees slightly obstructing walk way).

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
