Confirmed from Phoenix Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Phoenix Trail
“It isn't long, but it is exceptional well maintained.”
It isn't long, but it is exceptional well maintained. Cleared side back 10 feet. It was lonely the first afternoon, but 6 peer runners today. Got 5k in from Marriott out and back.
Great trail and awesome place to get aviation photos! Even caught a Delta Plane as the pot of gold! Enjoy this gem!
I find three different entrance but I use the middle of the hotels la quinta and quality at the end you will find a fence but is on the left side that road. Es bonito para caminar sin interrupción no termine el camino asi que mi se hasta donde termina.
Great place to walk my dog. Happy to discover this trail not far from my house.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
