Very muddy, bring your boots. Lots of hunters during pheasant season, so make sure your dogs/kids aren't skittish around gunfire. Tons of random little paths, could come here 666 times and still be entertained.
Hidden gem for dog walking. Used to be awesome for stocked pheasant but this last year was garbage for some reason..some say that heat wave killed a bunch of the birds. Guess you will have to see how this year goes. Either way out of season great peaceful place to walk the dogs.
This writing is for crescent lake in Washington State evidently this lake sits on a dormant volcano and is one of the deepest lakes in the United States from what I've heard! After you walk in the water about 5 ft it is a huge drop off I have heard many famous people had drowned in this lake!
Would like to see more clear signage to know what is or isn't a path, but that's just a small thing. Beautiful, peaceful park with great variety and number of birds. Hope to get back there soon.
