Confirmed from Lord Hill Crooked Lakes Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Lord Hill Crooked Lakes Trailhead
“That said, the area offers some beautiful scenic views and is great for a moderate-length hike.”
This was my first time hiking here, and the trail system felt poorly organized and easy to get lost in. There are many intersecting paths with little to no clear signage, so I had to rely on Google Maps to navigate. That said, the area offers some beautiful scenic views and is great for a moderate-length hike.
Fantastic trail! Fresh blackberries along the way were a treat! Beaver Pond about 1.5 miles in is beautiful. My boys LOVED playing on the old excavator about 1/2 mile in. Fantastic as a 5 mile figure 8 hike. Mostly shady, no noticeable bugs when we went in August. Gentle 700 foot climb overlooks river.
Great trail system. Little windy and cross crosses all over so worth going with a plan or map.
