Confirmed from Cresthaven Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Nice place has courts for ball, restrooms not portable big park nice area for kids playground, also big space for leashed dogs, and clean up behind animals”

This park was built in 1990. This park does look antique but not run down at all. It has an old school metal slide and a giant wooden toy train. My kids 3 to 10 years were all able to participate and play on this playground. (They also have a nice basketball court here.)

One of the more, well balanced, well behaved crowd is attracted to this area. All the bathrooms are always kept clean, and prestine. The Pride of the Prairie is a partner with the keepers of the park, not sure if that is Park District anymore, or some other "office" but the community seems to pitch in quite often and…

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
