Confirmed from Crossroads Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Crossroads Park
“Crossroads Park is a beautiful, well maintained public space.”
“Very nice park to play disc golf except for the bitting ants, don't know if there is something you can spray on your ankles to keep them off, otherwise beautiful park.”
“In Texas, some shade is appreciated.”
Crossroads Park is a beautiful, well maintained public space. The designers worked with nature to utilize and protect watersheds, existing trees, and open fields. The walking trails are wide with plenty of benches, garbage cans, dog stations, and restrooms or porta-potties.
This park in Temple, TX is amazing. It's very large and has several soccer fields and walking trails. I think I may have seen some Frisbee golf. The grounds are well kept and very clean. There is even a little concession stand, but sure of the operational hours. Great place to get out and enjoy the outdoors.
Fields are nice. Level and good good turf and drainage. Well lit and parking not bad - in the lots or along the loop.
Absolutely love this 24 hour park complete with soccer fields and Disc Golf and plenty of room for walking trails

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
