Confirmed from Crow Hassan Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Horseback-riding and hiking trails wind through this prairie-grass park, popular for walks.
What runners say about Crow Hassan Trailhead
“This is a big beautiful rural park with gravel and grass trails.”
Trail has some spots to see the crow river. Trails are dirt, sand, grass, rocks. Wear good hiking shoes. 1/2 the trails are in woods, and the other half is around the prairie grass.
So sad they want to ruin such a lovely park with paved paths. If you want tar, stay in the city and burbs, leave the few natural areas we have alone. horse owners (which there are approx. 40,000. Horses in the state) deserve a place to ride with out the dangers of inconsiderate bikers.
Wasn't too bad for a short walk. As it says in the description, it's very nice for group walks. There is a lot of wildlife, so you'd be safer in a group unless you're familiar with how to deal with the local animals. Stay safe and read the advisory signs posted at the trailheads.
Despite being very busy today we hardly met anyone on the paths. One of my favorite walking parks. Lots of horses out today..be mindful on the trails
