Confirmed from Crows Woods Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed local park (also for dog walking) featuring winding paths, streams and a rope swing.
What runners say about Crows Woods Trails
“It's a beautiful hike through the woods.”
“For as nice as the facilities are as your approach the trail head, I’d expect for the trails to be more clearly marked.”
“I was told that early in the morning at around 8:00am is the busiest dog walking time, because people come before going to work.”
The trails in this nature preserve are in a wooded area that have some hilly slopes, which makes hiking more fun than on other south Jersey flat trails. If you go into the swamp area by the creek, you would find it like a jungle. So it’s pretty hard to walk through the swamp. I would suggest stay in the woods.
Beautiful little patch of woods. Multiple little trails that loop back out but its surprisingly easy to get lost in here! Biggest trail is maybe 1.5 miles. After lots of humid/rainy weather there are TONS of different mushrooms. There is a small creek that you can often find frogs in
Great place to walk. Would be nice if people left their dogs on leash!
I love this hiking trail! Sometimes it can be busy but it's the perfect length and the sights are adequate for a weekly walk. There's a small creek in the middle of the hike and a few Bubble Springs here as well to check out towards the end if you take the white trail. Very lovely!
