Confirmed from Cypress Waters Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Cypress Waters Trail
“Had the pleasure to hike this trail this afternoon really Gorgeous lake & beautiful trail”
Came here with my girlfriend and our pups. Great place for a nice long walk even though not all paved. No restrooms along the way but wasn't a big deal. Funny quotes on all the rocks along the route. Good breeze and it was super warm outside so even better.
Update: hadn’t been here in awhile after moving and was in town and revisited it yesterday and was super happy to see how much progress has been made with this trail!! You can now do the full 5.5+ loop around the lake (easy to turn into a 6-7 mile workout with additional loops around the mini pond loop and the sound).
I went out for a morning walk here after hearing mixed rumors about trail closures. To clarify for anyone wondering: the trail is NOT fully open as a loop right now. There is still construction, and the trail is blocked off where the bridge goes over the water.
Nice trail to walk/run. I would not recommend people to walk this trail at night because there is a TON of cow poo everywhere, so it would be very difficult to see them during the night time. But other than that, the trail is nice, a lot of hills, and overall a very nice place to get in a workout.
