Confirmed from Daniels Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Peaceful park featuring picnic tables and basketball courts along with a playground and multiple pavilions.
What runners say about Daniels Park
“Clean and inviting park with access to the river, many pavilions, and a fenced in playground with swings.”
“Always beautiful but dead on the fishing”
This is a wonderful clean park. It has a basketball court, playground, decent restrooms. Great place to go fishing or river walking, all though I suggest you have water shoes or not go barefoot because it is such a popular spot for fishing you run the risk of stepping on a hook.
It was a late night visit to this park usually there's a lot of fishermen but it was pouring rain. Stop to do a quick walk around. There was an owl sitting on me rail next to the river which was pretty cool. The vultures were in the trees across the river.
Been going since I was born and awesome for every single age! An awesome playground for younger kids, great river for river walking and fishing, and a basketball court and pavilion. Surrounded by nature and exceedingly enjoyable! 🌳
Very cute park with pavilions, play set, swings, and river access. We use the dam as the stop point for our kayak trips, unless water level is very high. Lots of space for dogs to run and play.
Trail conditions & character
“I must say I grew up in this park fishing, swimming, playing tennis(now parking), baseball, basketball, and picnicking.”
