Confirmed from Dave Sanford Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a trail and a playground, and home to ducks.
What runners say about Dave Sanford Park
“Used to clean park with him and other neighbors.”
A small park, water-front with a lively artificial water spring at the center. All around is a beautifully laid walking trail - where one can do a fast-paced walk, jogging, or simply a stroll with your family members.... I came across this park (just by the side of Miles Road) during one of my morning jogging....
It's just a tiny pond with a walking trail around it but I still love walking around it. People fish in it and you can almost always see duck families, turtles and various birds.
A cute little neighborhood park with a trail and a beautiful pond. I bike here sometimes and see tiny little cute fishes. It’s kinda interesting to just peacefully walk around the trail observing the pond while the cars pass me at high speeds on the busy road, but it’s really beautiful here at the sunset.
Park Facilities Dave Sanford Park is a 4.7 acre neighborhood park with a small pond designated as a community lake by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and does contain fish. 0.25 mile walking / jogging trail Covered playground Picnic tables Small pond (fishing allowed)

- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
