Confirmed from David McDonald Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large and clean park featuring an outdoor stage and numerous family-friendly events.
What runners say about David McDonald Park
“Great family friendly event.”
Big open meadow. No playground. Plenty of ample space. A small area with a paved path in a loop.
Ground is very uneven.. but a very open space to let you dog run.. just watch out for the dogs enjoying the park as well.
Good place to walk dogs or fly drone. Maybe even launch rockets with kids.
Very Open field with lots of grass a few small trees for shade and lots of room for kids to run around nice park.
Trail conditions & character
“Good dog walk place, no playground equipment tho.”

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
